We were tasked with redesigning and uplifting the living room of this young family with two children, creating a functional yet stylish space. Our approach began with a careful analysis of the existing lighting, eliminating unnecessary downlights and repositioning the lighting on multiple levels to create a warm, ambient atmosphere.
Bespoke joinery was designed to integrate an electric fireplace, enhancing the room's ambience while providing ample storage for the family's belongings and showcasing their cherished items. The kitchen, the heart of their home, was reimagined with a striking royal blue tone that invites both daytime relaxation and evening socializing.
The furniture and accessories were thoughtfully chosen to complement the overall design, adding layers of texture and warmth. An Italian-designed oval dining table adds softness to the otherwise rectangular-shaped living area, while the transparent dining chairs lend a light, modern feel. The combination of oak, brass, and marble materials creates an understated yet sophisticated aesthetic.
Additionally, the cloakroom was given a bold makeover with a deep blue hue and graphic wallpaper, accented by copper finishes, tying the entire space together with a sophisticated, cohesive feel.
